Who we are

WikiAnalyst (wikianalyst.com) is the controller of personal data collected through this website. You can contact us at info@wikianalyst.com.

What we collect

When you use our contact or page health check forms we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, any organisation, the Wikipedia page or subject concerned, and your message. Our web server also records standard technical information, such as your IP address and the time of your request, for security purposes.

How we use it

We use your details only to reply to you, to carry out a review you have asked for, and to provide any service you then engage us for. Our lawful bases are your consent, given on the form, and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this site, for example which pages are read and how visitors arrive. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie notice; until then Google Analytics runs without cookies and without identifying you. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the foot of every page. Google Analytics is provided by Google, which processes the data on our behalf. We do not use advertising cookies. Your cookie choice itself is stored in your browser.

Sharing

We do not sell your information or share it for marketing. It is processed by our email and web hosting providers on our behalf. We do not disclose who our clients are.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as needed for the engagement and our legal obligations.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent, by emailing info@wikianalyst.com. If you are in the UK you may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
