Free Wikipedia page health check
Before anyone edits a page, someone should read its record. We review the page's history, talk page, logs, tags and sources, and send you a written account of where it stands and what can realistically be done. There is no charge and no obligation.
Questions people ask
Is the page health check really free?
Yes. It is a written review with no charge and no obligation. It exists because the right advice depends on what the page's history, logs and talk page already show, and that should be known before anyone edits.
What if there is no Wikipedia page yet?
Send the subject's name. We check for deleted versions, drafts and protected titles, and look at the independent coverage available, then tell you whether a page is realistic now.
Will anything be changed on Wikipedia during the check?
No. The check only reads public records. Nothing is edited, requested or posted on Wikipedia without your instruction.
How long does it take?
Usually two working days. If a deletion discussion is already open, tell us the closing date in the form and we will prioritise it.
